Married in Makaha — Simple, intimate ceremonies on Oʻahu's westside, no five-figure price tag.
I live on the westside, and I love it here — Makaha, Waiʻanae, Nānākuli, the whole stretch of coast that doesn't show up in the wedding magazines. That's kind of the point. If you want to elope, or keep your wedding small and real, this is an invitation to do it somewhere with actual soul, officiated by someone who already calls it home.
I'm a Hawaiʻi-licensed, insured wedding officiant, and I bring the same atmosphere and presence to a two-person elopement on the sand that I'd bring to a 200-person gala — just without the gala price tag.
What this is:
A 30-minute or less, no-frills ceremony at the location of your choice on Oʻahu's westside
A licensed, insured officiant who shows up ready — no setup, no production
A ceremony written around your story, not a script
Good to know:
A Hawaiʻi marriage license ($65 per couple) is required and is separate from my rate, payable directly to the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health
A beach/park use permit may be required depending on location — happy to talk through options
